Then I lost 65 pounds on Weight Watchers, and it's not so bad to look any more. Congratulations on that sweet, sweet victory! Reading your post, I can almost feel like I was there myself.

I, even at this advanced stage in my life, still get impatient. Ergo, the knitting that accompanies me everytime I have an appointment I think will have me 'waiting.' I'm just NOT a good waiter. But, having that knitting to keep me occupied transforms my idea about the whole thing. I am most grateful to have my crutch to get through those times. LOL!

MOST grateful you had good results! Yea. And, I'm with you on the 7AM weigh-in!!

Love the story of your son's team. He is 40 minutes from my house. He made sure he commented on the fact that I've gained weight. But then he told me about the 9 back surgeries he'd had in my 2 year absence and that his wife had cheated on him during that time, and now they were divorced and he was engaged to an old girlfriend. Even showed me her picture on his iPad. Suddenly my life made sense, and I was glad I was me. He's a brilliant doc but he's a nutter.
My oldest son played football. Not big enough to play for the big schools so I know how sweet your son's victory must have felt. Good for him! Heart is a lot more important in life than almost anything. I've missed you - how've you been?karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16313237142656662148noreply@blogger.com
