AttackWatch.Com

I am not a political operative, although I would love to be. I would be fabulous at that.....but alas, I am not...so I am giving my opinion and advice to President Obama completely free! This is an even better deal than the entire country of the United States which right now, is 50% off. (Except for Las Vegas which is an even better deal)

The Obama campaign has put forth a website called AttackWatch.com in an effort to combat inaccurate information about the president.

As a dopey middle aged woman I can help you save some time and money....this will not work.

President Obama this is not how you convince people what your message is. You just lead and let people figure out who you are. If your message is clear people will catch on.

As a Mormon I have the same problem President Obama has. People believe all kinds of things about me that aren't true. And the only way I can convince people they are believing falsehoods is to be me.

I have been asked why I can't eat Chocolate on Sunday. My husband has been asked how many wives he has (the idea of more wives like me gives him great pause). Generally folks have asked me whole host of things that I have just stared at them over.

But honestly the only one that bothers me is when folks think I don't believe in Christ And if someone really wants to believe that, there is nothing I can do to change their mind. Except be who I am.

So President Obama defending yourself will never work. Save your time, breath and money....just be who you are and let people figure you out on their own.

We are all our best definition of who we are. I hope there is enough evidence to convict me of being who I claim to be.

  4. See the difference here between you and Obama is that you live truth. This kind of Truth will stand beside you and lift you up. Truth will speak to the people through your example.
Obama is frightened about people knowing his truth. He has found the more truth about him that we discover the more "we the people" don't like him or his socialistic plan for America. We don't like him in charge or making decisions in our behalf or in behalf of our country.
He's freaked out as the more truth about him is discovered, the more he slips in the polls and his re-election possibilities look more and more dim.
So he hides the truth and he forms paranoid, crazy, communist/oppression style watch web-sites.
How much longer till we don't recognize the America in which we live?
    2012 can't come soon enough!

  5. Amen and amen, Donna! I have been thinking alot lately about how the activities we choose, the actions we take, are definitions of who we are for everyone to see. Yeah, I believe that. No website to dispell the lies necessary. blessings ~ tanna

  6. Yay, you! You said it so well. The more you talk to convince someone, the more it seems false. Actions speak much louder, and if President Obama were a wiser man he would know that.
And back to the Mormon thing, don't people ask the dopiest things? I mean really - they act they're the first ones to yuck it up over the many wives thing. It makes me want to punch someone. And that's who I am.

  8. Well, yes, but as Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels famously said, "An unanswered lie will soon be seen as truth." Even the Church, which has historically taken your stance of ignore the critics, has begun to launch defensive measures on many fronts. You can live the truth all you want, and it will give people pause when they hear something crazy, but a seductive lie can trump all of it. Just look at all the whackos who still believe that Obama wasn't born in the US. Some people will believe anything, no matter how outrageous, because it makes them feel better.

  9. Ha! Love it. Maybe he is being who he is and that is what is worrying him. ;) When we get defensive it's usually because we get stressed that people are not believing what we want them to believe about us.

I love this post. So succinct. I love you. I can't wait to meet you.
